AFTER IDEACRAFT with LIVE Critiques: four-week extension for Ideacraft and Ideation Lab

This spring, build on what you've learned!

After Ideacraft is a four-week course extension for Ideacraft and Ideation Lab. This add-on is designed to further student understanding and application of principles introduced in Ideacraft and Ideation Lab.

Students completing this mini-course should expect to complete two Major Assignments from project brief to final portfolio piece. This course is a streamlined delivery created to provide structure, community, feedback and accountability.

*It is not a full course loaded with lessons, demonstrations and case-studies.

*prior participation in Ideacraft and Ideation Lab are a prerequisite for this course.

After Ideacraft includes:

• 4 LIVE + recorded Zoom critiques. Mondays 10:30 pm - 12:00 EST. If you can't attend in person, recorded lessons will be shared via Discord.
• Two (2) Major Assignments
• Project Deadlines for thumbnails and final artwork
• (1) Mixed media demonstration
• Access to the Ideacraft community on Discord
• Work with a cohort of students on the same schedule.

Outcomes

• Dozens of sketch iterations
• Six (6) Completed value studies.
• Two (2) finished portfolio pieces
• *For very motivated students- Included in the lessons are several Minor Assignments designed to work together with the Major Assignments.

Delivery

The four-week After Ideacraft mini-course is delivered to your email inbox three times each week. Emails include project briefs, assignments, and invitations for LIVE + recorded critiques. You will be invited to connect with other students in the Discord forum. Join us LIVE on Zoom for recorded critique sessions on your Major Assignments.
